Donald Joseph Qualls (also known as DJ Qualls) is a fashion model and actor American actor. He shot to fame after his performance on Road Trip. Since then DJ Qualls has starred on 20 features, such as The New Guy Hustle & Flow or The Core. He also has appeared on over 22 television shows like Breaking Bad Supernatural and Scrubs. The Hodgkin's lymphoma patient who survived that he was diagnosed at age 14 Qualls is a fighter. Following two years of treatment his cancer went into remission. However, the treatment at this early stage caused a significant impact on his body. It also slowed his growth. As he began to make decisions, financial security appeared to be his objective. He had been in poverty throughout his youth. I've lived such a low-cost lifestyle over the years that I need been able to enjoy that financial security or the world feels uncontrollable for me he stated in an interview. Looking back at his youth and his desire to make a difference in the issue of bullying. DJ states "Cruelty breaks the heart of my soul." Both in real life and on the screen, DJ could love to be a father. He admits that Directors aren't able to put him in these characters. He'd love to become father one day in order to spend more time to the child and not be so occupied with his work.
