Mena Alexa Suvari was born on the 29th of September, 1979. She is an American fashion designer, model and actor. After a brief period as a model for fashion before moving into acting by appearing as guest actors on television shows like Boy Meets World in the 1990s, and High Incident. In 1997 she made her acting debut as a film actress in Nowhere. Her roles on the film American Beauty, for which she received the BAFTA Award nomination and American Pie attracted a lot of attention. She's appeared alongside American Pie's Co-Star Jason Biggs in Loser (2000) and then played the main character for the film Sugar & Spice (2001). Spun And Trauma a thriller film from 2004, were two of her appearances. In addition, she was a part of the HBO the drama Six Feet Under. The show was an instant hit in 2004, and in 2005, the Screen Actors' Guild awarded her the title of one of the outstanding stars. In 2008, Suvari was part of several films including Day of the Dead The Mysteries of Pittsburgh and the movie adaptation of The Garden of Eden.
